Jennifer Lawrence is really strong in this depressing, disturbing exploration of a woman's descent into madness. Supporting cast is also good, but hard to recommend the movie. Just ..why?

Extremely compelling. Spectacular production values, effects, cinematography, etc. Javier Bardem reminded me of the great Anthony Quinn in LAWRENCE OF ARABIA. Best performance by Timothee Chalumet to date. See it on a big screen or Imax if you can. Stunning.
