The original Justified is my all time favorite show, so I was looking forward to this. Unfortunately, this doesn't fit the bill and comes nowhere near living up to the original. Who wrote this?? What made the original so good was the creative writing and Raylan being a bad a** who could outdraw anyone with a gun. Well 7 episodes in, and I don't think Raylan has done any one on one gun standoffs yet. He's more of a side-character and part of a team now instead of the main character. Mix all that in with a fresh helping of woke, and you get what could have been a good show turned into a pile of dung. Really disappointing.

CONTAINS SOME SPOILERS Good but not great. As a fan of the original series, and anything Viking related, I came away feeling the movie should have been an hour longer in order to flesh everything out. As others have said, it just feels a bit rushed, and I was often finding myself asking, "wait, what just happened, and where did that come from?" At first I was a little annoyed that Aethelstan turned out gay, because I was afraid Netflix just added it in. But it actually turns out to be done in a way that actually matters in the movie. Further, having not read the books, from what I can tell he was gay in the books as well. So bravo to Netflix (wait, what did I just say?) for at least sticking to the source material. It did seem out of place a bit though, since there was never any hint of him being gay in the original show. I started enjoying the film more as it went along, as it became a bit easier to follow. But it still felt rushed, and there was little to no character development, which isn't much of a issue if you've seen the original series. The film also lacked the strong female characters (Brida, Stiorra, Skade, etc) from the original series, and it seemed somewhat out of place that Uhtred didn't sleep with anyone, marry them, and then get them killed, although there is a mention of the demise the women in his life seem to have. I enjoyed the final battle, and the ending itself, even if the battle could have used still a bit more strategy (it was there, just lacking in my opinion). And while others have scoffed at the final scene, I rather enjoyed it and would certainly like to visit. All in all, certainly worth watching - maybe twice since it goes so fast - but just not quite what it could have been.

(SOME SPOILERS) The first 3 seasons are great, but seasons 4 and 5 went downhill in a big way. The dinosaurs look great, and the sound is just as good as the movies, especially with the right setup. It can get a little repetitive, as there are only so many ways to try to escape getting eaten by dinosaurs, but the visuals and sound, and for the most part the story, make it worth watching....UNTIL season 4 and 5. I guess the writers went to woke school, or it got different writers or something, but we had to quit watching it now that the show is trying to indoctrinate our kids into the woke idealogy. I think it's great that the show is "representative" in that it contains main characters that are different races, etc. But now in season 5, it introduces a lesbian relationship, which just isn't appropriate for a kids show. Why do this? It's just not needed or wanted. Just show cool dinosaurs and kids trying to avoid getting eaten. And it's not just that it went "woke", but it also got even more unrealistic when people started controlling dinosaurs with what are basically XBOX controllers. All that said, the animations, visuals, and sound are excellent - just wish the writing would've stayed that way after season 3. Unfortunately we have watched our last episode.

Unfortunately couldn't get past the first 8 minutes of the movie after Upton had already said the "f word" for the 10th time and had sex with some random Uber driver. Don't get me wrong, I mean, what should viewers expect from a "sex comedy," but it just felt too forced, like the writers were trying to get in as much cussing as they could in one sentence. Shame since Upton and D'adarrio seem to make a decent, albeit unfunny, team. I haven't seen Upton in many other movies, perhaps now I know why, but D'adarrio has had much better roles (even San Andreas was better than this). At least D'adarrio has some of the most piercing eyes in Hollywood. This would have been a much better movie with the sound turned off so we didn't have to listen to the terrible writing.

Some okay action sequences, but I was lost during the whole movie.

It’s an ok game, but the single player campaign is too short, completely linear, and just not very deep in things to do. It does have some interesting missions that vary from the “go here, shoot them, get out” type missions. But it still just seems to lack depth, and there are more than a few times where it’s tough to figure out what you’re actually supposed to do. Luckily pressing a button will give you a hint and show you where to go next. I got stuck in a mission where the player is supposed to mark targets for a drone. It kept telling me to mark targets when there were none left. Then when the player is a child, there is a mission that is basically trial and error and frustrating not to get killed. The game does look nice, but most games do nowadays. It just doesn’t compare in scope or depth to larger scale games like RDR2 or ACO. It’s fun at times, but just ok in my opinion.
