A deep and very involving story, great gameplay and some expectation shattering twists. While I can see why some have loathed the second half of the gameplay, I understand what the creators were going for and it works. It reminds me of Resident Evil, where we often go entire games playing as different characters. In this case, it serves to demonstrate that perception is everything. There are a few slow moments but in the end, it’s a compelling and complex story we are being treated to. I also love the gameplay which is more or less faithful to the first game but has a lot of welcome improvements. Definitely worth checking out.
