Those stars are for animation and songs. This story needed some serious editing. I like the take on the (spoiler) child abuse and helping others but most of this movie didn't make sense. It had WAY too many B plots and side characters. The romantic lead for her wasn't needed and didn't have a personality. This film is a great way for the beauty, but the story was in need of some work. I think the beauty and beast element honestly was just not working for it.
