I loved both the seasons, but I've seen people reacting to the second season negatively due to it being a little more political. I don't understand what's wrong with it. I'm from a science background as well and I understand how important it is to address the political issues related to something big. Politics governs our lives one way or the other on earth each and every day, so it's natural to tjink that politics will play a vital role in something as big as finally sending humans to Mars for exploration and settlement.
