For those of us who listened to Elton in the '70's and basically took him for granted and had no idea of his background, this movie is an education to say the least. It is amazing that Elton made it through the 70's and is still standing. Taron Eagerton give an incredible performance and deserves the highest honors. The small twists on each of the songs is also enjoyable. I'll never listen to Elton and Bernie's music the same way.
