Oh please. If you're going to rip off ideas and concepts from David Lynch, at least provide a plot, images that you can actually see instead of black blobs, shadows, total blackness and some type of closure. I can't get that hour and forty minutes of my life back. Save your money and time. This movie is the WORST.

It would have been a much better movie experience if I could have understood the dialogue. The Australian accent is difficult enough to understand. The actors mumbled their way through the whole thing.

Even Sandra Oh can't save this flop, and I'm angry that I wasted $20 to rent it. She manages to have 2 facial expressions...scared and blank staring into space. Save your money, please.

Beautiful cinematography, compelling soundtrack, but in my opinion, a gruesome "Lord of the Flies" wannabe. Read Golding's novel, and/or watch the film for a much more meaningful experience. Thanks.

Just read the book...it's awesome. This version is a bit more interesting, as the daughter is the victim instead of Gage. But no movie can hope to plumb the depths of the scope of this book...it's characters, the plot, or the ultimate horror at it's conclusion. As with all of Kings books, the movie versions fall flat. I've always wondered how Stephen King was okay with what Hollywood has done to his novels. Money is my sad conclusion.
