Vetrimaran Dhanush and GV proved once again why they are a successful combo by doing their respective work precisely. Manju Chechi Ken Karunas and Dhanush's elder son in the movie Teejay Arunasalam is an additional combo who made us completely glue to the screen since the beginning. Asuran is a usual revenge saga with lot of violence and blood sheds yet there was no hesitation in the face of audience. In fact they want it even more. That impact was created by Vetrimaran's screenplay put to Dhanush's acting (anger in his eyes) and GV's severe Bgm. தனுஷ் உடைய கடந்த கால வாழ்க்கை " கத்திய விட புத்தி கூர்மை ஆனது" என்றதையும் நிகழ் கால வாழ்க்கை "சாது மிராண்டா காடு கொள்ளாது" என்றதையும் வெளிப்படுத்துது. And the climax one liner was really apt to the movie and also a good message. The movie deserves awards. Asuran... Grudge Anger and Vengeance... 🔥

The only reason I went to watch this film is for director KV Anand, but this guy betrayed me... On his consecutive successful run of Ayan Ko Maatraan and Kavan, he created a big disaster this time. Worst screenplay, illogical scenes, irksome songs, unfit bgm, cliché and needless dialogues all put together failed to grab the audience attention. There is not even one scene where I am involved with the movie. There were few other people including me where we were laughing at the climax. Failed to use the potential of big actors Samuthirakani, Mohan lal and Boman Irani. Don't waste your money going to theatres and get disappointed. Take my advice, because I am your 'Kaappaan'.
