I’ve been to see this production two times over several years while visiting London and have to say that both times the play did the job - scared me to death. It’s the type of scare that stays with you for a while and has you looking into shadows hoping you will not see anything. I cannot imagine this play being so creepy anywhere else- the atmosphere of the old theater sets the tone of the experience and leaving the theater, stepping into the cold foggy night is the perfect ending. The actors are brilliant in their performance, making the production a must see if you’re brave enough.
