I feel exactly as most of these readers do- an author who was once my favorite has now completely turned me off with his partisan rhetoric and insistence on supporting unsubstantiated leftist hyperbole. Could not even finish a book I waited two months to read. Utterly disappointed. Its fitting that these ideas were expressed in a work of complete fiction. I hope Silva returns to writing riveting spy tales and stays away from topics he's so ill-informed about.
