A VAST improvement over the two previous games, a "slight" deviation (not an unwelcome one!) from them as well. Some things and Metro specific attractions were taken out (like "pulki"/army bullets, that are used as a currency in the Metro books and Metro 2033/Last Light, two previous games) It makes sense storywise, but it is unfortunate and some people might even call it a betrayal of what Metro is all about. Still, in my opinion,
Metro Exodus is a natural successor (Finale?) to Metro LL/2033 and despite some roughness, that mostly being the dialogue/voice acting (both english and russian) and facial animations, which are kilometers ahead of what we´ve seen in the prequel games, the love and care/passion of the developers is seeping through those rough edges and cannot be unnoticed/unappreciated! GOTY 2019.
