It's an entertaining game that puts you into the life of a pirate. You can defeat skeleton men, megs, other crews, and even the Kraken if you're lucky. You have many ways to earn gold, ranging from treasure maps to mercenary kills. However, from day one in the game, other crews are usually (unnecessarily) hostile towards you and will go out of their way to make you rage quit. It's happened to me on multiple occasions and I've only been playing the game for three days. *If you take your gaming serously, then this isn't the game for you.* (I learned this the hard way after losing two days worth of loot in-game time.) This game also doesn't appear to have a main end-goal. You just live life as a Pirate and stop playing once your bored of going on quests or bullying other players.
There are several updates that I think the game needs:
1. Outposts should be safe grounds for everyone. Other crews shouldn't be able to kill you when you're heading inland to sell loot. (My friend and I had two chests of valuables, and were killed once we got close to the Merchant. Our loot was stolen and sold before we got the chance to take it back.)
2. Alliances should have friendly fire off. Killing your own allies shouldn't be allowed, and if it needs to be for whatever reason, then the alliance should automatically break once you're attacked. (A crew I formed an alliance with killed me repeatedly after following me to an island, and sank my ship while I was "dead".)
Overall, this game has a lot of room for improvement.
