Thoroughly reccomended. It is uplifting and inspiring and gives us hope for a fairer future. It is about 'enabling', about positivism, about 'those affected' taking charge and changing what impinges on their liberty. It is an absorbing docu-film about racism in the American Legal system around 1940. It tackles racism in a serious and balanced way showing the anti black bias in the justice system then, and offering a way to overcome those biases still remaining now. By showing the 'underdog' taking a grip of their own future, It identifies a positive way forward for equal civil rights.
