Update: Ok, I just read some reviews and realized they were intentionally poking fun at similar tv/movies. Got it. That makes a lot of sense. That went over my head, I just thought it was a terrible series and the humor’s not for me. I guess if that’s your thing, you might like it.
Original review:
This isn’t as much a review as a need for answers. (Spoilers)
I have questions:
Why was the gravestone always different? And why was the storyline and dialogue so unbelievable? Was it on purpose? The way she acted when her husband and daughter left. The way her daughter died. The handyman who’s been fixing her mailbox for 3 years, and the husband who hired a known serial killer. The way the detectives talked to her and behaved. The way everyone gave the same apology at the end and validated her. The fact that a 9 year old killed 4 adults and still almost killed her, after a lengthy fight scene. Why did she keep saying the same phrase at the end, when people asked how she was? And what am I supposed to assume from the end? I feel like she’s just out of her mind and creating unbelievable things for herself, and we’re just on this crazy journey with her. Is that right? Will there be other seasons? Cause I don’t really wanna watch but now I feel like I’m in it. Mostly I’m annoyed.
