This movie was a good movie. No where near great. Whatever accolades this movie has should always have an asterisk by it. There have been a lot of really good to great action/sci-if/superhero movies with female leads that have far better stories than this. I think the character of captain Marvel is a great idea. However I think the actress has no charm and the production seems to be forced. Everything about this movie and it’s advertising is more or less beat you over the head with how powerful she is. Give me a great story and character and let the audience determine how powerful she is. It’s amazing to me how the most popular marvel character (Tony Stark) and the most popular DC character (Bruce Wayne) have no powers. Just a great deal of story telling and charm. Good luck Marvel Hopefully you get back to telling good and fun stories ASAP. Captain Marvel 2 won’t be positioned between to great movies that others spent a decade building
