Alright, I'm not BLOWN AWAY. But was the original show really that mind blowing to begin with? I mean don't get me wrong, obviously I loved it since I watched Generation Q on the edge of my seat. Are there too many sex scenes? Yeah maybe a little, but I'm also uncomfortable with televised sex to begin with, so maybe that's on me. Are the newer characters harder to relate to? Do they have a developed story line? I mean, I don't know, I feel like there are too many of them, but the original cast of characters wasn't extra easy to relate to either. I thought the diversity was really cool, and I thought that the few explanations of what happened to the older characters like Jenny and Kit are very few and scarce but still present and gave enough although very little satisfaction as to what happened to Jenny for example. Disappointed in the cliff hanger we were left with, I gotta say. But let's be realistic here: it's 8 episodes! Surely there will be more development in later season(s), and IDK about you but I'm excited to see where they end up. All in all, I liked it, I like the new characters, but I do want to see more character development, feels like there's so much to put in each episode that it's hard to do at the end of the day.
