Cold blooded Brothers

War horse is the intriguing story of a horse named Joey and his adventures throughout World War One. Michael Morpurgo tells this story beautifully from the very beginning, when Joey is just a foal living on a peaceful farm, right through to the end of the war where Joey is now a dazzling red bay stallion. War Horse is told from Joey’s point of view, and this adds an extra special touch to this moving story. Reading this book you are exposed to the cruelty and horridness of war through a horse’s eyes. This gives a whole new perspective of war. I really enjoyed reading War Horse. It was interesting and held my attention all the way through. My favourite thing about War Horse is the fact that it’s told from a horse’s point of view. This makes the book even more interesting and it’s also interesting to see how the author has interpreted the way horses see things
