Albeit slow at times, the story really winds itself into a horrifying, eye-opening, tragic masterpiece in its own right. Bradley Cooper delivers a stellar performance, and don't you dare miss the last act. The level of raw emotion that comes around is heart-wrenching. Though it could have been equally enjoyable minus 30 minutes or so, I implore you to give this movie a go. If nothing else, but as looking glass into the life of a tortured soul turned Carnie.
