I am a long-time fan of Queen, though not hardcore. For those who are, I can see why you might be disappointed with accuracy, etc. However, my husband and I really enjoyed the entire film. Malek's portrayal of Freddie is fantastic. The soundtrack and show sequences are also excellent. One of the biggest reasons I wanted to see it in theaters was for the Dolby sound system, and I was not disappointed. This film is mainly about the band and the music and I know all I need to about Freddie's very separate gay lifestyle and that part was well represented. The details are of no interest to me. As a whole, I think this is an great movie and highly recommend it. In fact, I plan on going back to the theater to watch it again.
