It did the impossible task of balancing serious and grounded with gleefully absurd and I love it. Many say that it gives the show tonal issues, but I disagree. It is, after all, a comedy, and a hilarious one at that. From Steve Carrell (who didn't know while filming that the Space Force was real, btw) and Lisa Kudrow to the late Fred Willard, an overall all-star cast makes for an all-star show. The subtle Trump jokes are also a welcome inclusion. If you love the Office or Parks and Rec, this show is a must. Five stars.
