I got this with my PS4 Pro. Played for about an hour and the boring, stifling dialogue got tedious. I'm all for some witty one liners but this isn't that, I don't need a 5 minute story about why your sidekick broke some dudes finger or whatever but then I realized it was filler dialogue because it was a 7-10 minute drive to my next destination. Why? And there lies this games biggest problem. There is just an in-ordinate amount of mindless driving around that it just gets BORING. 1 Star for the game +1Star because it was free.

A very well done throwback to the classic Mana series. Overall the game is done very well and stays true to its SNES roots. The gameplay is good and combat feels much more fluid than the Secret of Mana 3D remake. There are several things that you need to take into account. This is a 3D conversion from a 2D game done on a budget. The voice acting isn't going to be the best. The camera might be a little janky at times. But this isn't a AAA game like Final Fantasy and it's price reflects that. If anything it show's that not all great games need to have massive budgets and high profile voice actors. In fact for almost half of the main cast this game is their first VA credit.
