Usually I don’t watch musicals but this time I decided to try it because I love broadway shows. Anyway The Color Purple gave so much emotions I didn’t expect! The cast is more than to ask! So perfect! The music and songs they choose so perfect! Colors of picture, the makeup just no words! BTW I have never watched the original movie, so for me this story was new. Brilliant story, so much strangle for black woman and how some of them stood up for themselves. How through difficult times they still going and living. The creativity and imagination is brilliant. The big tree at the end when they all met and have a diner. The time when she washes her in a vase and how everything went to theatrical presentation. Ufff! I’m still under impression! Great work for everyone in there! They choose to do a musical and it change my mind how I see musical at this point! I will definitely watch it again when I feel I need it comfort and remind of who we are as woman!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Big respect to black women, always been

Love this movie! Perfectly played the character of Miss Meadows, she was so good! And the story of the reality how sadly many men treat women.

Great acting of everyone, specially Jennifer Aniston. This show made me feel as it was real! More important you never know what is going to happen next!
