I honestly thought this was great. It was a very suspenseful movie where people are killed off one by one. You never really know who is going next and you start to take sides just to find out the character you sided with dies next. However I can't give it 5 stars as there some major plot holes. First of all everytime someone dies, their body is just mysteriously gone. There are a couple times where you can see the body of the person get dragged back into the darkness however this was never addressed by anyone in the movie. Which I find weird. Also they give no back story to the characters. However thats just to make you not get to attached to any one person. But I would have liked to have more of an explanation to why they were there in the first place. A tiny bit is explained in the last 2 minutes of the movie but not enough to really come to a conclusion. Its left very open ended and its a little upsetting. Overall a good movie and I recommend giving it a try

Fun for anyone under the age of 10. The plot is lacking any real substance and the end is the stupidest most anticlimactic end to any movie I've ever seen. The only reason I watched it in the first place was for sharkboy and lavagirl. Who were in the movie for a total of 15 minutes maybe. No backstory to them or explanation to where they have been or what they have been up to. Not to mention that they make sharkbiy wear a mask and not speak the entire movie because they couldn't get Taylor Lautner to play him. Overall an over hyped m ok vie that's really only entertaining for little kids. Would not recommend
