The book is great! I really like the interactions between the characters, as well as challenging dilemmas they confront. Good examples of these are Yin's choice to move to NYC with Richard rather than staying in Altimont and Richard's decision to stop the work of his factory. A good mixture of description of places, feelings, and events makes the story unique. The author discusses a local legend, the wish-fulfilling cliff, as well as the nature in Altimont, meetings of the RM Corps members, their work on the cure against schizophrenia, and how their work leads to breath problems in Altimont. All of these help to keep the reader involved. While reading the novel, I was especially worried about Sgin.
