Things just kind of happen on screen and the stakes are incredibly low, since this all happens in the same "universe" as all the other live action movies since 2007. None of the beast wars characters actually get to be their own characters and are pretty much just set pieces for the macguffin of the movie. I'm left wondering who this movie is actually for, other than an ok popcorn film to kill an evening.
