Fantastic movie! Much better than sequel.

So boring and predictable I couldn't finish it. It's basically a broken family drama with some transformer action here and there. The same ol' child-misses-dead-parent-and-outsider- fills-that-gap is what we've seen in 100's of hollywood films. Boring! The 80's are in fashion, so it's appropriate that's the setting. Nothing special about this film - wait for DVD. I'm disappointed with how well the rating and reviews are for this film. It's different from the other Transformer movies, sure. But it's very formulaic in that it borrows from other blockbuster movies. It's a transformer of other movies. Sorry for the blunt review. I wish I could get my money back.
