Use to enjoy watching the show. However, after watching this season's contestants wound a moose that took 3 hrs to die, and then listening to a wolverine be beat to death, my opinion of Alone is shifting. I understand survival can be tough, for all concerned. I simply don't like watching/listening to animal cruelty for entertainment.
