As the translator of Bezoar and Other Unsettling Stories I loved the reviewer's comments and her choice of her favorite sentence in the book--a sentence which, oddly enough, stood out for me too as a sentence both pithy and amusing to translate :-) Her description of the style and hence what the translation needed to do is very apt.
