The worst portrayal of WW2 I have ever seen. even Dads army offers more authenticity than this series, which presses every politically correct button possible. in the four episodes I have so far condescended to watch, there have been a welter of historical inaccuracies, with characters turning up all over the place in unlikely situations. one example will suffice. on the Dunkirk beach, at the height of the evacuation, a well dressed black guy without a mark on him saunters accros the beach carrying a suitcase as if going on his holidays and calmly gets into a boat unchallenged. the whole series seems to have been written by a 28 year old with a degree in media studies. needless to say I won't be watching any more.
