Go and read the manga, im sorry but the anime did not do it justice. The art, animation, the flow it was all just bad. I checked out the new season 3, it looks promising, definitely looks a lot better than the other seasons, especially s1. However, the Kingdom Manga is definitely worth reading, the art, the war, strategy, and surprisingly the political aspects are really unique and interesting aswell. Its really addicting.

It hooks you in right off the bat, with all of its plot twists and whatever. The plot is really interesting as there isnt really a definite 'good' or 'bad' group. They leave the audience to decide that. Then *near* (foreshadowing :/ ) the end after everything happens, it just loses its feel. Lol 'near', sorry for my dad joke :/ . I would 100% recommend it for new anime watchers, its perfect. Though, I wouldn't say its the best anime of all time in my opinion, mine would be probably steins gate (similar suspense factor).
