Honestly I’m a bit disappointed. This movie might be acceptable if was made by less famous director. However I had huge expectations before I walked into the cinema and I came out speechless, not knowing what I just watched.

Politically and morally correct but boring and moth-eaten

I guess the director wanted to focus on the relationships between people. However, this movie ends up not meaningful enough and just sooooo boring. My friends laughed at the jokes in the movie and I wonder if something was wrong with me as I found nothing could make me laugh at all.

It’s so unrealistic and illogical, and it seems just to be an Asian edition of the western fairytale Cinderella. The rich handsome leading- actor falls in love with Cinderella because she is pretty(I don’t see how this Cinderella proves herself worthy of it). Handsome guy’s mum is so judgemental and hates Cinderella to be her daughter-in-law, but was suddenly convinced by Cinderella’s not so impressive love statement speech. Everything is soooooo superficial in this movie, and you haven’t lost anything if you didn’t watch it.
