If I was not a fan of Kanchana, the original movie in Tamil, probably my review would have been different. Kanchana was entertaining, full of humor, great actors and a great plot. The script has been changed a lot to give Akshay kumar the superstar credits and that has weakened the plot a lot. Sharad Kelkar was the only actor who came across as a surprise with his outstanding performance. I remember ROFL while watching Kanchana, but comedy in Laxmii was unbearable.overall, laxmii turned out to be a diffused bomb as a comedy, action and thriller movie which KANCHANA, the original could be. This is the first time in years that Akshay Kumar has disappointed me. Especially because Raghava Lawrence has done amazing acting in the original. If you haven't watched the original, you might like the movie. But for Kanchana fans, it is a terrible experience.
