Ellen, your message on kindness was so over the heads of those who insist on eliminating everything that they judge as unacceptable. They have become exactly what they speak against. Where is the concept of discussing our different ideas and opinions in a respectful conversation. Oh wait. THEY have determined that even you, Ellen Degeneres, must abide by someone else’s opinions on when to be kind. STAND FIRM. You are right. Kindness can change a heart. A changed heart can bring people together to make a better world.
