Call me by your name is a masterpiece. It is a truly heartbreaking story. I’ve watched it four times in the last two days and can say that i have cried and been transfixed in the story all four times. I cant describe the feeling of heartbreak that i feel when the film finishes. The story gives an insight into what it was like living in the 1980s as a homosexual. Armie Hammer (Oliver,24) and Timothee Chamalet’s (Elio,17) performances were incredible and their love was totally believable, especially as both actors are heterosexual. They presented their characters exactly as you would imagine, especially after reading the book before hand. I give this film a 10/10, and it will now always be one of my favourites. It’s a film that should be watched once before you die.
