The flashbacks and foreshadowing are NOT for the feeble minded...it keeps you on edge, almost as if you are putting puzzle pieces together. However, it's complex in a sense where you cannot predict what will happen next. If I could just isolate the 1920's - 1930's story line (because there is so much that is interesting in that area alone) I would have total satisfaction.
