This could have been so good. If only they hadn't opted for an utterly preposterous right wing terrorist enemy. Afraid to use a realistic terrorist group completely ruins it for me. I gave up half way through the second episode.

I desperately wanted to like this. There are about 7 series! So much to watch! Everyone is watching it! Everyone! There are no reviews below 4 stars on here! It has to be brilliant, right? Regrettably, no, it is not. I have tried to watch it 3 times. I will surely try again, at some point. I never get beyond 15 minutes of the first episode. It is unfunny and highly unrealistic and unbelievable. You might say that we often need to suspend belief to enjoy TV at times. This is correct, but with Brassic it is just too absurd. The episode opens with them being chased by the police. In the countryside! And they get away. Easily! They've stolen a car it seems. A BMW. In the middle of nowhere! The dialogue during this is supposed to be funny, I assume. I think maybe the whole opening scene is possibly somehow funny, but I'm not sure. Possibly it's to set the viewer up to the concept that these are amusing wild boys. They hide out in a rural house, where they do a deal with a 'nutty character'. Then the voice over describes each of the 'earthy' young men. They're all 'bonkers' types you see. The lad from 'This is England' is in it. He was an unconvincing working class kind hearted yob in that too. I've never got much further than this. Three times. I will try again, but regrettably I very much doubt it improves in general style or humor. It's just too bonkers for me.

I loved the old series and was pleased to see this return. However, this series is quite poor. It's just so unbelievable from the start. The whole concept is full of holes. The most ridiculous aspect is the ludicrous police station. This consists of only 3 police who do nothing but deal with one single case. No phones ring, no other people ever enter the station and the Police chief does all the work. Then there's the unrealistic perfect American town. It's all just so unrealistic,

This is based on one episode as I don't believe I should have to watch 2 or 3 to 'get into it' First the acting. It is not good. Erin Carter talks in an almost AI generated British accent. For the first 10 minutes I thought it was Spanish with poorly chosen dubbing. Unless it was! The story line is quite simply modern nonsense. A five foot nothing women, built like a nine year old boy is kicking peoples bottoms, including a fully grown man. We are to believe she is some sort of crack commando or assassin or similar! Then there is the daughter, who is totally unbelievable and has her own dumb story line. The whole show is abysmal. If this is considered a high end drama then I give up.

This review is based on the Switch version, on offer at £3.99. I played through this game in roughly two days with my ten year old kids. It is one of the most enjoyable games I have played, and is perfectly balanced to offer a challenge but not to annoy or dampen your enthusiasm and enjoyment. The graphics are utterly superb and a joy to view. The game plays like a sci-fi movie with plenty going on the whole time. I can't think of a similar game to compare it to. Even my none gaming technophobe wife was impressed with what she saw! At full price I might have been a little upset at it finishing so quickly, but in reality it is only the fact that I could not put the game down that brought it to close to early. Brilliant game in every way.
