Have watched Summer & Winter Olympics for 40 yrs. Have always had respect for and enjoyed NBC coverage. Appreciate the in difficulty with regard to time zone coveage; however, terrible scheduling of Primetime!! There are so many commercials in rapid succession that it has almost ruined the continuity of coverage. I have enjoyed most of the morning coverage; however, even the AM reporting is too repetitive about the back stories and lead ins. This is a magnificent spectacle of the best in the “world”. I always loved watching competitors from so many countries. Too much time watching home towns; listening to same commentary…. Over and over….play by play…. again and again. So sad. Poor Dressel and Biles and Ledecky. So much talk about them; when they did not tinterrupt the commercials, of course. Thank God that the ads featured many of the athletes; we got a glimpse of some.Also, good commentators; but, OMG…TALK, Talk, Talk, Talk. Thanks for the show, but if commercials continue to be as heavy, I probably will wait for only the highlights. “”
