My rating for the movie is 3/5. It’s just an above average movie but the hype created by promotion created very high expectation among the audience. The director tried to bring lot of extra or rather complicated it which otherwise would have kept simple and suited the folklore theme of the story. E.g.: Frequent flashbacks, some additional visual effects. All key actors have done justice to their roles. Mohanlal’s body transformation for the movie has created lot of hype for the movie but was a good experiment. And hope to see many more such experiments in Malayam film industry.
