The special program last night was well and thoughtfully done. It did much to calm the population about the Coronavirus. I especially was glad that it ended on a more hopeful note. What we need now are facts and a positive attitude towards the future in spite of what we are seeing now.

I will not be watching the nightly news anymore. I find the tone of the programming to be hyperactive and geared spread more fear about the Coronavirus. What we need now is JUST facts, not what ifs or showing people's bad behavior (ie: early in February showing people at Costco buying toilet paper - I felt that just spread that behavior even more). Last time I watched it was "Is your money safe", again spreading the fear that could cause an unnecessary run on banks. Your network is how many get their news, so the responsibility to set a calm tone is imperative.
