The movie is lush and beautiful, with a cool-toned hue cast over the screen to give us that cold, damp, feeling of being in Forks. The actors are perfectly chosen for their roles. Robert Pattinson, who plays Edward, is definitely aware of how attractive he is in real life, which perfectly plays into Edward's role of being knowingly attractive in order to trap his human prey. When Bella and Edward are first made aware of each other's existence, they exchange a stern glance at the other and he transfixes her with a dark, penetrating stare. When looking at Pattinsons images on Google, he is almost always glowering at the camera from beneath his brow, so it is clear that his natural expressions fit almost perfectly with Edwards.
Bella on the other hand is fresh-faced and innocent. Kristen Stewart captures this perfectly, not only in looks but with her innocent, clumsy, and awkward mannerisms. Stewart has a wide acting range and is able to play a convincing role no matter what part she is given. She was definitely the perfect choice for Bella.
