I totally agree with Jordan. Such a great cast, and what a great disappointment. One has to suspend belief throughout - especially the "coincidence" that the lead detective's (Robyn) long lost daughter that she gave up as a baby is the girlfriend of the main suspect in the murder of China girl; that she and this daughter suddenly establish a close relationship; that Robyn has so much free time for her personal life; that this daughter (Mary) actually is still in school when she seems to spend all her time with her creepy boyfriend and 'happy prostitutes. And who is implanting all these girls with embryos? Why is no one arrested in this illegal scheme???? I also doubt that as much as Mary likes Puss, that she would actually try being a streetwalker; the whole take-down of the gunman on a crowded beach. And don't even get me started on the police officers - Robyn's married boss who is involved in the very same brothel and illegal surrogate program but suffers no consequences, a fellow officer who is sexually harasses Robyn but is never called on it. And, as Jordan points out, many, many loose ends at the "conclusion." Too many other good shows to watch. Don't bother with this one!
