James is a friend of mine! We met at school (Damelin College) in Durban, 56 years ago! More tha half a century! After school, our lives went separate ways. I now live in Portugal, and contact James and his family regularly, in the UK. He was kind enough to send me a copy of the book a few years ago, after we remet in Facebook again. Well, I could not put the book down! It is so well written, so humourous, so great! I wish that it could be made into a film! It really deserves it! It is a memorable testimony of Africa, at its best!. I recomment it to anyone who has lived or lives in Africa, or, for that matter, anywhere in the world. It is magnificent!
