After spending the last 15 years in London, there were parts of the documentary that took me back to my childhood in Argentina, to the big family meetings we had when we were watching the World Cup, to what was going on in the news during the 80's.
The film is a cleverly portrayed masterpiece about the complex life of the Argentinian legend which shows the vulnerability, strength and weaknesses of Diego Maradona from different angles. A must watch for football lovers, especially for Argentinians and Italians, and for anyone interested in the challenges faced in the life of a world-known celebrity and the negative consequences of fame.
