Extremely disappointed with this game as I liked the look of it when it was announced.
I thought this game was going to be like life is strange, which I have played through on both the xbox 360 and xbox one and thoroughly enjoyed both playthroughs. Tell me why however has a weak story, irritating characters and seemingly no consequence of picking the 'bad' dialogue options.
For me there are too many pointless, yet forced mini games, which appear to be there just to fill out a game completely lacking in excitement.
For example why on earth would somebody want to play through a section in which you have to sort through files in a store room? Or decide which items of furniture should be kept or binned? This is supposed to be a videogame, not a long drawn out series of chores?!
By the time I got to chapter 3 I had already lost interest, and began hitting random buttons where the game wanted me to make dialogue choices and I was relieved to reach the end of the game. Once that achievement popped I was out of there. I hit the home button on my controller and didn't even watch the final cutscenes. I simply don't care how that story ended.
The only saving grace about tell me why is that it has easy achievements, which is the only thing that kept me going through this dire, excuse for a game. Though annoyingly, having two separate achievements means two separate playthroughs.
I am at this point debating setting for 1450 out of the 1500 available points rather than sitting through that again!
You have been warned.
