I think they should have gotten married and lived happily ever after, because they loved each other. He was handsome and had a brilliant mind - didn’t like the message that if you are handicapped and not perfect you should end your life - this was a missed opportunity that our lives take us down paths that aren’t what we planned, but we must make the best of it.
