I cannot understand why they picked Sofia for this role. Sofia looks nothing like the real life Griselda Blanco. Sofia is a beautiful, elegant, sexy woman. Griselda was not. Sofia says she was in a makeup chair for 3 hours to make her face like Griselda's, I don't believe this. Even the prosthetic nose they put on her looks nothing like Griselda's nose, its laughable. On top of not having the right features or weight to physically resemble the character they did not even try with the hair either, or the outfits. They could have done so much better, with the amount of pictures online of the real life person and the amount of information there is of the real story. Also I just found out a series about Griselda has been made before and was played by Catherine Zeta Jones....why are these beautiful women casted to play this lady? ... It is so disappointing but I was not surprised because from the moment I heard it was Sofia that would be playing her I knew not to expect much. Her acting was terrible, Sofia is not a good actress but she can be good in some roles, she fits perfectly as Gloria in Modern Family but as a drug lord? a criminal?. She was not the right at all actress and that was my biggest issue with this production. I also didn't like that it was in English, Griselda did not speak English, she lived most of her life in Colombia and moved to Miami of all places, the woman was speaking Spanish, the story should be told in Spanish. Also it was recorded in California and not Miami, California looks different from Miami with all the mountains it is simply not the same it was very easy for them to shoot in Miami I don't understand why they didn't. Finally to not make this review so long, the other actors were not good either, and so much of the story was inaccurate. I did not like this at all, I don't recommend

Best show I have ever watched. Sherlock Homes is a classic and Benedict played him perfectly , I can't imagine anyone else playing Sherlock now. Love it , everything about the show is great also, the quality , acting of other characters, script , absolutely brilliant in every way.
