Forget the so called "experts" who say this movie is trash. Priest is an outstanding example of what Hollywood can accomplish. It has an awesome setting, great characters, and an engaging story. It is very rare for a unique story with its own lived in world to make a premiere on the silver screen. As a collection of movies, I feel that Priest could have amassed an unbelievable number of followers and been branded a cult classic.
