The book hard times by Charles Dickens is a classical text in its own taste the outstanding believe of Mr Grandgrind into the philosophy of facts ,, he says the students should be taught nothing but facts , this is an enlightenment representation that Dickens brings into our attention. Even though when the text ends Mr Grandgrind notices that the philosophy has deprived his children a sense of free childhood growth that entails emotions feelings and imagination
