Based on the first 3 episodes, it’s not very good. The episodes seem to get worse as you go. For example, episode 1 was pretty exciting since it brought back iCarly, and episode 2 reintroduced a few side characters from the original series, and episode 3 had nothing going for it. The terminology they used to use in iCarly was always funny, with words like “jank” or “chiz”. Now, I feel like all I hear is “influencer influencer influencer” “meme meme meme”. Many of the jokes feel like they just don’t belong anywhere near this show. For example, the new character, Harper, makes a furry joke which made me cringe so hard. It’s okay to make adult jokes since it’s a reboot, but the line needs to be drawn somewhere IMO, and the jokes need to be written better. The writers are insufferable, seems like they’re trying too hard and still failing. The thing that made iCarly so good and was the feeling like it wasn’t really trying and just ‘was’ super funny. I also should mention how bland the show looks, Spencer’s apartment used to look colorful and fun, now it looks like an old office building with the walls falling apart, just looks gross.
