Ufotable have adapted such an emotional arc with such finesse. Not only did they respect the material enough, they were able to replicate the feelings I had the first time I read it. They added small amounts to add to the story but never far enough that it changes the plot.
Ufotable shows rather than narrate the story. Instead of narrating the events as what Gotouge-Sensei has done, they allow the characters to tell the story themselves through the animation. The soundtrack of the movie like that of the series, is short of phenomenal. Even if I repeat watching this movie, I can't get enough of it. Just congratulations to all involve and thank you for this masterpiece.
